Cleansui: A package of different technologies
Cleansui's original proprietary filtration system ensures the high level of performance.
The unique and advanced filtration system uses a combination of filtering net, non-woven fabric, ceramics (and/or) ion exchange fibres, activated carbon with hollow fibre membrane filters:
- Net, non-woven fabric: Removes sediment and larger particles.
- Ceramics (and/or) ion exchange fibres: Removes soluble lead apart from other contaminants. (Note: certain filters that include ion exchange fibres remove lime scale).
- Anti-bacterial activated carbon: Reduces unpleasant odours, chlorine and mould and also successfully removes CAT (pesticides, herbicides) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) such as total trihalomethanes (chloroform, bromodichloromethane, dibromochloromethane, bromoform), tetrachloroethylene, trichloroethylene, 1,1,1-trichloroethane, etc.
- Hollow fibre membrane: The core competence of Cleansui is the hollow fibre membrane, made from ultra-fine polyethylene. The sidewalls can remove particles as minute as 0.1 micrometer from water, including bacteria, algae, fungi, micro-organisms, cysts, cryptosporidium, and metal particles such as rust, lead etc.
